Swimsuit ideas for 2022

It has been a week since I have been back from Saint Martin, and let me tell you, my body is back in the United States, but mentally, I am somewhere on the beach having a margarita or a glass of rose for breakfast.

Within about five months, I've visited Saint Martin twice, and one thing that will bring me back to any country is the people. Saint Martin is a beautiful island in the Caribbean Sea filled with the most beautiful beaches tastiest restaurants, and the people on the island are very kind and full of joy.

Along with St. Martin being a fantastic travel destination, It is the perfect place for bikinis. In this post, you'll see and read about where I shop for swimwear and why these stores are my top choices this year.

Target

This bathing suit from Target was perfect for an afternoon at the beach. In a bright neon color, It looked amazing in the sunset as I rolled around in the sand and the shallow end of the ocean. With a high leg string bottom, the suit is figure-flattering for slim or curvy women. Because it is not a 'cheeky' or a thong bottom, it is sexy enough for the beach and appropriate enough for a family pool party. THE BIKINI SET IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE since I purchased this sometime last year, but some similar styles are.

Kulani Kinis

From one of my favorite brands, Kulani Kinis, the Fluro Flamingo bikini was a colorful, fun set to flaunt around the island. This is the perfect suit if you want to make a statement while having fun in the sun. Kulani Kinis is also very inclusive when it comes to sizes. Whether it is a one or two-piece, their handmade pieces fit most body types. I purchased the Retro Y Thong Bikini Bottom and the Ditzy Underwire Bra Bikini Top.

Riot Swim

When I booked the flight for the trip, I knew I wanted a swimsuit from Riot because I have been following them on Instagram for a while, and the pieces are unique. A black-owned brand that makes women feel a suit from this designer should be a part of your wardrobe. I chose the Phoenix One Piece in color, 'Curry.' I wore this on a boat trip, which was adorable. Paired with a straw bucket hat from Lack of Color, It was an ultimate fashion statement.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope this post will help you choose a swimsuit that is the perfect match with your body and personality. I get a lot of questions asking me where I shop for swimwear, and I wanted to share some of my favorite stores with you all.

XOXO Jdanielle
