New Year's Eve 2017

Happy New Year!

December 31, 2017 marks the first time I got all dressed up to go out with friends for New Years Eve. I usually go to church with my family but this time I decided to have dinner with my girlfriends.Thankfully the holiday was on Sunday which allowed me to attend a New Year's Eve service.

All of the plans were made at the last minute including my wardrobe and dinner reservations. My best friend Racquel made dinner reservations at Murphy's in Atlanta. She and I had brunch there about a year ago and loved it so we both came to an agreement to have dinner at this Virginia Highlands attraction and it was delicious.

I found this adorable velvet dress on Macy's website and I knew it would be perfect for dinner. LOL it was not perfect for the weather but it fit like a glove and it was under $100.

I paired it with my favorite BCBGMaxazria leather jacket. I would like to point out that this jacket is just as warm as some of my pea coats and was such a stylish investment.

This is Kerri @flawednfabulous. She is always the life of the party and such a fashionista.

The foundation I wore that night was the Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation(I have a tutorial using this on my channel). I used the Naked Heat palette for the eyes and for the lips I have on the Rocky Road Intense Butter Gloss by NYX .
