Pixie Cut...Why Did I Cut My Hair?
In the last blog post about hair, I was rocking hair extensions with a middle parted closure. Sew-ins are one of my favorite hairstyles because it is a protective style if its braided and done correctly by a professional. I go through phases so I have changed my hair again into a very cute pixie cut. This is by far my favorite hairstyle because I love short hair and I must say that I rock the pixie very well (I am not tooting my own horn).
Now for some odd reason, when a lady cuts her hair some people assume that she is going through a tough time in her life, that she just got out of a bad break-up, and some mid-life crises has just taken its toll on her. Cutting your hair does not make all of your problems go away. So is there a specific reason as to why I cut my hair?...
The one thing I love about hair is that it never has to stay the same and black women have this advantage to the fullest. Natural or relaxed, black hair is amazing! I cut my hair simply because I felt like it and the pixie cut is sexy and sophisticated.

Since my hair is extremely course, I did get a relaxer for the cut and I use the Phyto Specific Relaxer. This relaxer system is amazing. If you have an extremely sensitive scalp and burn easily, then I highly suggest this relaxer. It does not burn or tingle at all and it does not have all of the harsh chemicals that other relaxers have.

Ladies if you have always wanted to try a pixie cut or any other hairstyle that you have never had before, just go for it. As long as you are happy, that is all that matters.
